Our mission is to love as Jesus loved...
Missions at home and around the world
A few of the missions we sponsor:

F.A.M.E. Fellowship and Medical Evangelism

Back in Sept. 2009, Rick Wolford who is FAME's executive director came to FCCL to visit us. Talking with him at the mission lunch that day he told us he had been sick and would soon be going to the Mayo Clinic in Florida, at that time his doctors did not know what was causing his illness. That Sunday in the fellowship hall the mission team prayed over him. Rick told me a few weeks ago on the phone that since that day, he had been to the Mayo Clinic 3 times and the doctors still could not pin point why he was so ill. Because of the work he does for the Lord with FAME, helping sick people all over the world. He could have came in contact with any number of illnesses that we here in the states do not have to worry about. But that is not where this story ends, Rick thanked me for the mission teams prayers that long ago Sunday afternoon, and even though the doctors could never find what made him sick the Lord was working in His time and in His way to heal Rick. He is now feeling much better and he even ran in a marathon. I think, when we think about all our missionaries who serve over seas we always remember the danger they are in from persecution and the hardships they go though by not having heat, electricity, air condition etc...

But sometimes, things that can hurt them are not seen with the eye. Germs, illness, bad water, pollution, and parasites in their food.

The sacrifice they make for the Lord humbles me and at times makes me ashamed that we are at times afraid or to busy to share the Lord with friends and family. Paul in Romans 10:15 truly said it best.

"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news!"

Thank you Jesus!!! For the harvesters you have sent, and please put into our mouths the words you wish for us to say.

 Fair Haven Center for Women

Fair Haven Center for Women is a mission founded by survivors for survivors. Fair Haven offers a faith focused recovery program for hurting women who have experienced sexual, emotional and/or physical abuse. Fair Haven works to bring education and awareness of abuse to the communities it serves.
Fair Haven will host their annual AGAPE 2011 event this year on April 30, 2011. The purpose of this event is to help eradicate violence from our community. Participants in the event can walk, skate or ride bikes on the 3 mile trail that winds through Wicker Memorial Park in Highland Indiana. There will be music, food, door prizes and raffle baskets.
Fair Haven has opened OASIS, a transitional living facility. A place to provide support and appropriate housing in an undisclosed location for victims of violence. Women who participate in this program are allowed to remain in the housing program for up to 2 years. During this time a safe atmosphere is created, the crises stage begins to fade and healing can begin.
Fair Haven offers workshops and other services for groups and individuals.
